The Licking County Thunder was founded in July of 2016 by Director Jeff Jones...a retired teacher and coach with 30+ years of experience. Our mission is to improve each individuals skill level and knowledge of the game in a fun, but competitive atmosphere! We are always looking for versatile, motivated young ladies to join our teams! Think you’ve got what it takes? We’d love to meet you! We are firm believers that WE>me!!

The Licking County Thunder is an organization fielding age specific teams beginning at the 9u level through 16u based on player/coach availability. We are always looking to find highly motivated, versatile players to grow in our organization. Along with being competitive on the field, we promote good sportsmanship in a family atmosphere!

Are you a Licking County Thunder Fastpitch Softball fan? We know you are. In just our second year of existence as an organization, our girls captured eight (8) tournament championships! In year 3, four (4) of our teams were able to qualify for National tournaments! As we move on to our 4th season, we have added new opportunities. 1) We have formed a "partnership" with the new "Clubhouse" indoor facility in Newark! Highly-regarded private instructors Jon Pyles and Mike Ramirez will be working with our teams/coaches in a group setting to develop individual skills. 2) We work closely with Big League Athletics in Newark...they donate discount hitting cards so our players can get extra cage time for only $1. Follow our schedule and come on down to our next event. We'll save a seat for you. Make sure you and your family do not miss out on our next fun and exciting season. We know you will have a great time!
Everyone wants to be #1… but we really are! Licking County Thunder Fastpitch Softball is working hard to become the best Softball Club in the central Ohio area. If we’re passionate about our team’s drive, skill, passion and sportsmanship, then nothing else matters (except, of course, your support).
